    Early preparation is key, which is why Saint John's offers a prenatal education program for expectant parents. 

OBSTETRICS/MATERNITY:

 Rubella



If a woman has never had rubella (german measles) or is not immune, the obstetrician may prescribe a rubella vaccine after delivery. Recurrent pregnancy should be avoided for eight to twelve weeks after receiving the vaccine.
