Obstetrics/Maternity:

 Mother-Baby Unit

Once a woman has delivered and recovered, she and her baby will be moved to a private post-partum room in the Mother-Baby Unit.  Here mother and baby will be cared for by specially trained nurses.  In addition, all new mothers have access to Saint John’s expert lactation consultants and the Lactation Station  for help with breastfeeding.

The goal of the Mother-Baby Unit at Saint John’s is to help mothers recover comfortably and prepare parents for the transition home.

  • Pre-Registration

Women should complete the Saint John’s pre-registration form two months before their due date.
