INSURANCE AND PAYMENT OPTIONS

As part of the hospital’s dedication to offer the best care for mother and baby, Saint John’s accepts a variety of insurance health plans and other payment options to meet individual needs.

Insurance
Saint John's will provide patients with accurate cost information based on specific health coverage. After submitting a completed pre-registration form, patients should contact the Financial Counseling Department at 310-829-8376 for assistance in planning a stay. Office hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The estimated uninsured portion of an account is payable prior to admission. Saint John’s Health Center accepts MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express, as well as checks and cash payment. Prices are for hospital charges only and do not include charges for physicians. Patients should ask their insurance company about coverage for early discharge and circumcision.

Other Payment Options
Saint John’s offers special package pricing for self-pay parents based on length of stay and services required. All packages must be arranged in advance with Saint John's financial counselors at 310-829-8376. The estimated cost for an account balance must be paid in full prior to delivery. Financial counselors will be happy to assist any patient in setting up a monthly pre-payment schedule, based on a specific delivery plan.
