Obstetrics/Maternity:

 Car Seats

Saint John’s Health Center does not allow parents to leave the hospital without an approved infant car seat. Use a car seat, as required by state law, every time the baby rides in a car.

Make sure the car seat is properly installed. Read the instructions carefully and/or visit the local fire or police station for help. Infant car seats should be installed facing the rear of the vehicle.

Never leave a baby unattended in a car.
